Sarah E. (Remp), widow of Richard S. Matz, died in her residence in this borough, aged 78 years, 8 months and 24 days. She was a daughter of Richard and Susan (Eshelman) Remp, and was a lifelong resident of this place. Her husband preceded he in death about seven years. There survives one daughter, Alice, wife of John Beyler, cement contractor and builder, and two brothers, Charles Remp, of Libby, Mon.; Henry Remp, Reading,: one sister, Mrs. Katie Hartz of Rosedale. She was a lifelong member of Gouglersville Lutheran Church. Funeral from her home, South Church street, this borough, on Thursday Sept., 27, at 1:30 o'clock. Rev. C.G. Heffner, of town will officiate. Interment on the family plot in Wyomissing Cemetery, Gouglersville. Funeral Director C. D. B. Kindt, of town has charge.
