Born June 6, 1930, in Danville, he was a son of the late Raymond and Ellen Hoover Ricker.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Ricker was an avid bowler, die wood carving and was a gardener.
He is survived by three children, David of Cogan Station, Barbara of Northumberland and Roger of Milton; two grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ellen Gemberling of Middleburg; and three brothers, Kenneth of Delaware, Paul of Carlisle and Russell of Philadelphia.
