Tara Michelle Feldman Alamilla, age 34, of Westmont;
loving mother of Travis, Leo and Maya Alamilla;
beloved daughter of Joyci and Alan Feldman;
dear sister of Dustin (Reenie); Dr. Kori (Patrick Spizzo) and Michael Feldman; granddaughter of Ruth (Seymour) Wilk; niece of Marcia (Steven) Rayman, Jill Cerniello, Joan Atkinson and Michael Cerniello.
Tara was Brookfield Zoo's school program coordinator, showing teachers of K-12 classes how to employ science in their classrooms. She helped to implement the program Levels of Engagement with the Chicago Zoological Society, which won the 2009 Association of Zoos and Aquariums Education Award.
Visitation Friday, 3 to 8 p.m., at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd. (3 blks S of Roosevelt) Lombard.
Friends and family will gather for the funeral Mass on Saturday, at 9:30 a.m., at Ascension of Our Lord Church, 1S314 Summit Ave., Oakbrook Terrace.
Interment Bronswood Cemetery.
The family has requested that those who wish may send memorials to Tara's Memorial Fund, c/o Stuart Strahl, Director's Office, Chicago Zoological Society, 3300 Golf Rd, Brookfield IL 60513, are appreciated.

Her husband has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for strangling Tara as their 3 children slept.
She was 34 years old.
