Brother of my grandfather, James Emmit Deel.

Noel "Pete" Deel was born on Sunday, July 24, 1904 in Fisher County, Texas to George Washington Deel and Florence Emaline "Galley" Brookshire.

He had thirteen siblings: Alexander Lafayette Deel, Walter Robert Deel, James Emmit Deel, Charlie Ivan Deel, George "Henry" Deel, Birtie Guy Deel, Alley Lee Deel, Flora Lurena Deel Blount, Essie Adron Deel Ivison, Katy Jewell Deel Miller, Florence Virginia Deel, Willie Graves Deel and Orris V. Deel, Sr.

His paternal grandparents were Peter Abraham Deel, III and Isabella Serena Duff and his maternal grandparents were Graves Goodrich Brookshire and Sarah Frances Bacon.

He married Serena Elmiria "Elrena" Lee on June 16, 1924 in Snyder, Scurry County, Texas . They were blessed with four children: Wilburn "Sussum" Deel, Noel "Ellis" Deel, Max Rogers Deel and Barbara Lee Deel Ochs.

He died on Wednesday, March 20, 1985 in Fisher County, Texas. He was 80 years old.
