Woppert, Joseph L. Joseph peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, August 10, 2014, at the age of 87.
Husband of 62 years to Elizabeth (Beth). L
Dad to Lynn Duncan, Joel and Mark (Jean) Woppert.
Grandpa to Jessica (Sam) Anderson, Kristin Duncan, Jennifer and Ryan Woppert.
Great-grandpa to Landon Anderson.
Further survived by other relatives and friends.
Joseph served our country in the U.S. Navy during WW II.
He was a journeyman carpenter for many years until he became a science teacher at John Muir Jr.
High School and retired from Milwaukee Public Schools after 30 years of public service.
Memorial Gathering on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 Bluemound Rd., Waukesha, WI 53188, at 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 11:00 AM.
