Mr. W. M. Green, of St. Joe, Mo., who came here about three months ago on a visit to his son-in-law, C. W. Ryan, died last Saturday evening about 4 o'clock. Mr. Green was 77 years of age. The funeral was held at the residence of Mr. Ryan, west of the city, and interment was made in Burden cemetery Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
Those of his children who were present were; Samuel Green, Mrs. Laura Ramey and Mrs. Margaret Pullen, of Wichita, Jack Green and wife, of Oxford, and Mrs. Matilda Thomas, of Arkansas City.
