Age 100 George Brenner passed away on August 28, 2010 in Mesa, Arizona. George was born March 5, 1910 in Parkville, Missouri on the family farm. He started working for John Deere in Kansas City, Missouri in 1929. In 1935 his boss gave him a one way ticket to Phoenix, Arizona and he has been here ever since. He Loved working for Arizona Machinery Company where he stayed until his retirement in 1976. George spent many years with good friends and family hunting and fishing in Arizona. Two of his favorite spots were Williams Arizona and Big Lake. In between there were fishing trips to Mexico, Alaska, and Canada. George also loved all kinds of sports. He spent many years playing softball, football, basketball, and bowling. He was a devoted ASU fan and held season football tickets for years. George is proceeded in death by his son John Brenner. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Katherine Bowen Brenner. His children George (Debbie) Brenner, Ruth (Jerry) Sullivan, five grandchildren George Brenner IV, Jennifer (Quentin) Harvey, William Sullivan, Eliza Sullivan, and Brenner Sullivan. Also a Brother Paul Brenner of Kansas City, Mo. Viewing will be held 9:00am-10:30 am on Friday, September 3 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 1345 E.
