Graveside services were held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Udall cemetery for Mrs. Anna O. Carlson, 72. Officiating minister was the Rev. Karl Magnusson.

Mrs. Anna Carlson
Mrs. Anna Otellia Carlson, who died at 7:50 a.m. May 26, at a Winfield hospital of injuries received in the Udall tornado, was born June 17, 1882, the daughter of Mary and Carl Carlson in Klockaregard, Hjerflanda, Jonkoping, Smaland, Sweden.

Mrs. Carlson was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church in Sweden, and as a girl she came to America. She was united in marriage to Frank A. Calrson, who preceded her in death in 1918. She later was united in marriage to Pete Carlson, who died in 1920. To these unions five children were born.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Scott of Ottawa and Mrs. Ruth Newman of Yates Center; three sons, Carl and Arthur of Udall and Edd of Winfield; six grandchildren, Elaine Newman of Wichita, Karen Scott of Ottawa, Aletha and Carrie Carlson of Udall and Renae and Bruce Carlson of Winfield, and one brother, Albert Carlson of Omaha, Nebraska.
