John S. Neil, 72, of 860 thirty second street a resident of Port Huorn 37 yers, and a retired yardman of Higgins Coal company, died Monday in Port Huron Hospital after an illness of a week.
Mr. Neil was born Aug. 6, 1888 in Sanilac County.
His wife Mary, died Aug. 5, 1956.
He is survived by three son, Vernell, Cleve and Ervin Neil, all of Port Huron; 14 grandchildren; three sisters Mrs. Hannah Brown, and Mrs. Celestia Setter, both of Marlette, and Mrs. Maynard BeLong, Port Huron; and several nieces and nephews.
the remains will be in the family home, until Thursday morning when they will be removed to the Arthur Smith funeral home where services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. by Rev. Mark Burgess, pastor of United Missionary Church. He was a member of the church.
Burial will be in Peck Cemetery.
