His other regular role television credits include "The Avengers", "The Informer", "The Saint", "Armchair Theatre" and "Brookside". For feature films, he appeared in "The October Wedding" (1959), "Children of the Damned" (1963),"Get Carter"(1971), "The Passenger" (1975), "The Bitch" (1979) and many more. He died from a internal hemorrhage at age 53 in London, England.
