After he was married to Katie Scheidt they followed farming until 1907, when they sold out and came to California, locating in Fresno, where he was employed in packing houses, orchard and vineyards until 1918, when he purchased twenty acres, where the family now reside which he devotes to raising Muscat and Thompson seedless raisins and peaches. He has a splendid and well improved place and understands and has had considerable experience in horticulture and viticulture.
To Mr. and Mrs. Horg have been born three children: Fred, Henry and Annie. The family being members of the Lutheran Church in Fresno.
Mr. Horg believes in cooperation and is a member of the California Peach Growers, Inc.. and the California Associated Raisin Company.
