Elsie E. (Marx) Age 82, of Colonial Dr. and Biltmore Dr., Horseheads, died Tues., July 26, 2005, at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Mrs. Davidson was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Davidson, on Sept. 18, 2004. Her surviving family includes her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Jr. (Helen) Davidson of Setauket, Long Island, NY, and Ronald (Sally) Davidson of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren, Robert III (Samantha) Davidson, Lorri (James) Savarese, all of Setauket, LI, NY, Drew Davidson of Binghamton, and Carrie (Dale) Ferreira of Elmira, NY; great-grandchildren, Leigha Jarett and Robert Davidson; brother, William (Kay) Marx of Monroe Township, NJ; sisters, Marilyn Smith of Westchester, PA, Gloria (Jack) Howley of Danbury, CT, Joan (Don) Henderson, also of CT; and several nieces and nephews. Elsie was also predeceased by her brother, John Marx. Elsie was born Oct. 20, 1922 in the Bronx, NY. She was a devoted homemaker whose artistic abilities were evident through her many paintings, ceramic pieces, sewing and gardening. Moving to Horseheads after her husband, Bob's, 37-year career with American Airlines, together they remained longtime residents of Monroe Drive.
