Donald Peckinpaugh was born to William Chester and Florence Nesbit Peckinpaugh, who preceeded him in death. He was raised by his Aunt, Velma Nutter, who also preceeded him in death. On May 25, 1983, he married Janice Holder, who survives in Napoleon.
Mr. Peckinpaugh was a truck driver for LACE transportation, Wauseon, for the last ten years. He was a member of Free Christian Church of God, Continental. He was a member of Grand Rapids Sportsman's Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2562, Maumee, and Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 2094, Defiance.
Survivors also include two sons, Ronald Peckinpaugh of Luckey and E. Jay Peckinpaugh of McClure; three daughters, Lisa Boes of Bluffton, Rhonda Rosebrock of Raleigh, N.C., and Sondra Garbers of Delta; three stepdaughters, Tonya Dunn of Bowling Green, Holly Morris of McComb and Kristie Stollsteimer of Defiance; a brother, Robert Peckinpaugh of Leipsic; and ten grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by two brothers, Charles W. and G.E. "Ed" Peckinpaugh; a sister, Louise Arnold; and his stepmother, Irene Peckinpaugh.
Services were held in Napoleon with the Rev. James J. Fry officiating.
Interment followed at Sugar Ridge Cemetery, Leipsic, OH.
