He was born in Detroit to the union of Veronica Kirkman and the late Charles Kirkman Sr. he received his education from Inkster Public Schools and was employed with General Motors Company and he also served 4 years in the U. S. Air Force. He was married to his wife Denise A. Kirkman for 22 years. He also was employed with Affordable Transportation where he worked for many years as a van driver driving people to The Gathering Place Clubhouse in Livonia (Lincoln Behavorial Services). His favorite hobby was his family having barbecues and get togethers he was a mentor to everyone he was preceded in death by his father Charles Sr. and his sister Vera Bush. He is survived by his wife Denise A. Beloved Son of Veronica Loving Father of three daughters Tinetta Verland and Joy a son Juandel two sisters Barbara Kirkman and Shirley Stewart three sisters in law Evelyn Mack Willa Gibson and Phyillis Landers one brother in law Harry Landers four Grandchildren Nathaniel II Jasmin Diamond and Camryn and a host of nieces and nephews and friends who will miss him. Funeral Arrangements were handled by the Penn Funeral Home located at 3015 South Inkster Road in Inkster James H. Penn & Son Directors.
