LINDA KAY BROWNING HAGER, 71, of Hamlin, W.Va., born October 4, 1943, went to the lord on July 28, 2015, after a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late Brad and Mildred Meade Browning and was also preceded in death by one sister, Charlotte Lucas.

She retired from Lincoln County Health and Human Resources as a social worker and volunteered for the last 10 years at Hamlin Bread From Heaven Food Pantry.

She is survived by husband of 53 years, Calvin Hager; two daughters, Angelia (DuWayne) Smith and Tammy (David) Dirickson; four grandchildren, Tabitha (Jason) Kessell, David (Erica) Dirickson II, Taylor (Tiffany) Smith, Rachel Smith; four great-grandchildren, Breanna Bays, Samuel Dawson, Keirsten Kessell and Lindsey Kessell and great- great-granddaughter Klowi Smith; brothers and sisters Gary (Cathy) Browning, Larry (Lois) Browning, Sharon (William) Lucas, Virginia Duty, Sandra (Michael) Porter, Judy (Terry) Sponaugle, Patricia (Michael) Enochs, Paris Browning, Lisa (Faron) Beckett and Guy (Sandy) Browning; loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and many friends, especially Melody Martin and Brittany Hall of Hospice Care.

Funeral service will be 4 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2015, at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, W.Va., with Rev. Winford Curry officiating. Interment will follow at Lawson Cemetery, Big Creek Road, Hamlin, W.Va. Visiting hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Koontz Funeral Home, Hamlin, W.Va.
