ADD'L INFO: Daniel Isham was a Revolutionary soldier, although printed Revolutionary War Rolls do not contain his name. The Pension Report of 1834 shows that "Daniel Isham, residing in Chittenden county, Vt., " a private, aged 84 in 1834, was receiving a pension. In 1781 Daniel Isham was living at Halifax, Vt., but some years later he had joined his relatives at Shelburne or St. George.

OBITUARY: Burlington Weekly Free Press (Burlington, Vermont) July 2, 1841: "Died in Williston on the 27th ult after a lingering and painful illness of several months Mr. Daniel Isham a soldier of the revolution aged 90 years. Mr. Isham was one of the first settlers o Williston has ever sustained the character of an hon-t and upright man, and after having lived eo a good old age he has gone to the enjoyment of a better world where the wicked cease from troubling and the wear are at rest. Printers in New York are requested &c."
