SUMMITVILLE - Everett D. Lybolt, 88, of Lybolt Road, Summitville, died Wednesday in Hamilton Avenue Hospital after a long illness.

He was born the son of Elmer and Annie Green Lybolt on Feb. 12, 1888. He was married to the former Nellie Bradley.

Mr. Lybolt was a retired employee of the O & W Railroad and a lifelong resident of the area.

He is survived by his widow at home; three sons, Allen of New York City, Richard of Margaretsville and David of Huguenot; two daughters, Hilda L. Harder of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and Anne M. Brown of Whitney Point; two brothers, Alden of Avoca, Pa., and Jeremiah of Summitville; a sister, Beatrice Cummings of Connecticut; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Van Inwegen-Gray Funeral Home, Wurtsboro. The Rev. John S. Metallides will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Burial will be in the Ferncliff Cemetery, Hartsdale.
