B. A. Bennett, died at his home in Long Lane about noon Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1919, following long illness from Bright's disease.
Mr. Bennett was a native of this county, being born near Long Lane in 1854. In early manhood he was married to Miss Sarah Tadlock, who with six children, survives him. The children are: Rev. W. R. Bennett of Arlington; Claude, James, George and Ben and Mrs. May McArron, all of Long Lane.
Mr. Bennett was an industrious, honorable citizen and in the words of a man who was born and raised on an adjoining farm, "the county had no better man."
Funeral services and interment will be held today.
