Sisk Rites Will
Be Held Sunday

Barney Odell Sisk, 348 Georgia Drive, died at his home this morning at 6 o'clock. Mr. Sisk was 74 years old and was ill for only a short time.
Services will be held Sunday from East Athens Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. C. C. Milstead, former pastors Rev H. R. Burnley and Rev W. C. Cruse, officiating.
Burial will follow in Oconee Hill Cemetery, Bernstein Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Robert Weatherly, Donald Carithers, E. L. Herring, Tom Escoe, Cleo Tuck, Henry Bowen, Marvin Eberhart and Charles Escoe. An honorary escort will include deacons and members of the Men's Bible Class of East Athens Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nora Smith Sisk, Athens; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Williams and Mrs. M. L. Hardy, both of Athens; sister, Mrs. Bell DeLay, Gillsville, Ga. Six grandchildren, six great- grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Sisk was a native of Jackson County, Ga and had lived here most of his life, being a member of East Athens Baptist Church.
