CARMONA, Marta M. - Marta Maria Carmona, 48, of Hartford died Saturday, (November 5, 2005) at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico daughter of the late Marcelino Carmona and Carmen L. Vazquez of Hartford, she had lived in the Hartford area for most of her life. Prior to her retirement she was a teller at the CBT Bank for many years. She is survived by a daughter Chaurise Williams – Cauley and her husband Richard of Hartford; two brothers Jose and Roberto Carmona of Hartford; four sisters, Carmen Gonzalez and her husband Florentino Veguilla of Hartford, Rosa Carmona of Hartford, Maria Carmona and her husband Rolando Reyes of Hartford, Lisette Colon of Boston, MA; three grandchildren Nakia, Rashod and Rakyah Cauley of Hartford; godbrother, Junior Texidor of Provo, UT, 14 nieces and nephews, 16 great nieces and nephews and a host of friends. She was predeceased by a son Ernie Walker, Jr., a brother Heriberto "Papo" Carmona and godmother Anna Vazquez. Her funeral is Thursday 9 a.m. from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Avenue, Hartford. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours are Wednesday from 6-9 p.m.
