BROWN, Martha L. - Martha L. Brown, 80, of Enfield died Saturday, (February 24, 2007). She was the beloved wife of Dick Brown and mother of Kenneth and Janice Brown. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Elsie Adlerz, originally residing in Worcester, Massachusetts. She retired from Springborn Laboratories, Inc., as Supervisor of the Polymer Characterization Laboratory. She graduated from Clark University with a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry and received Advanced Training in Plastics Technology at UMass, Amherst. Martha was also a former member of the American Chemistry Society. She was also active in organizations benefiting individuals with mental retardation. Martha is survived by her sister-in-law Rita Adlerz, her beloved nephew Clifford Adlerz and his wife Kathleen, and grandnieces Katrina and Alicia Adlerz, all of Franklin, TN. In addition, Martha will be greatly missed by her dear KPC friends. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made.
