Katherine C. (Matthews) Borjeson, of Hartford, beloved wife of the late John J. Borjeson, entered eternal peace Saturday (December 15, 2007), at Wethersfield Health Care. Born in Hartford, May 5, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Harry & Catherine (O'Riley) Matthews, and was a lifelong resident of Hartford. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Hartford. Katherine will be remembered by her family; three sons, Terry Borjeson and his wife Cecelia of Newington, John Borjeson of Alabama, and Gerard Borjeson of Bolton; four grandchildren, Chad, Tracey, Ashley, and Kristain; a sister in law, Ruth Matthews; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her ten siblings, Harry, Edward, William, John, Joseph, Francis, Thomas, & Theresa Matthews, Marion Murphy & Veronica Madden. Katherine's family wishes to extend a special thank you to her niece Marion Murphy for all her loving care. Funeral services will be held Thursday December 20, at 10 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 79 New Park Avenue, Hartford. Friends are asked to meet directly at the Church. Interment will be in the family plot in Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford. Katherine's family will receive relatives and friends, Wednesday December 19, from 4pm to 6pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield.
