Norman Harold Kane Jr., 88, of Chapel Hill, NC, husband of over 50 years to the late Michal (Lowenfels) Kane, died Sunday at his home in Chapel Hill, NC. Born in 1924, he was a son of the late Norman Harold Kane Sr. and the late Madeline Elizabeth (Chadwick) Kane. Mr. Kane received undergraduate and master's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He served in World War II as an ambulance driver for the British Red Cross. Mr. Kane was a rare book dealer who never retired, working up until the time of his passing.
