Langs, Richard K., age 75, of Mokena, died suddenly February 24, 2006 in Yuma, AZ.

Born August 10, 1930 to Truman and Aileen Langs (deceased) of Battle Creek, MI. Richard was a retired electronics technician and Army Veteran.

Devoted husband of Isabelle for 53 years. Beloved father of Thomas (Carolyn), James (Nancy), Theresa (Bernard) Hoogstra and Nancy (Lewis Kyle) Ritchey; grandfather of 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Brother to Charles, Truman "Bud" and Lois (Robert) Hulsey. Brother-in-law to Mary Schwarz, Charles Schwarz and Edward Schwarz; uncle to numerous nieces and nephews and master to his beloved Doxie, Max.

He played several musical instruments with natural ability. He enjoyed collecting coins and antique radios. Two-meter band ham radio will be emptier without his K9YHF on the airways. His family will miss his sense of humor and unwavering support.

Cremation rites accorded in Yuma, AZ. Memorial plans pending.
