He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Doyle; his paternal grandparents, Mr. Ralph "Buddy" and and Mrs. Luciney D. Doyle; his maternal grandparents, Mr. Patrick Murphy and Mrs. Virgie Johnson Cloud.
Survivors are his mother, Ruby Cloud Fontenot; his son, Eric; his brother, Lyndon all of Lafayette; his brother Randy of Houston, Texas; seven nieces of Lafayette and Houston.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
