Douglas William Barbee, 55, of Linden, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007, in Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Harrisonburg.
Mr. Barbee was born June 18, 1951, in Front Royal, the son of Louise Catherine Sealock Barbee and Hubert William Barbee. He was a carpenter and owned his own contracting business.
Surviving with his mother, of Linden, is a son, Leslie William Barbee of Linden; a daughter, Kelly Marie Barbee of Linden; and four grandchildren.
A funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Maddox Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Ford officiating. Burial will be in Linden Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Frankie Barr, Roger Williams, Ted Sealock, Fred Sealock, Benny Sealock, John Sealock, and Bruce Donovan.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.
