Russell Darling, 75, 5451 Bennett St., Brewerton, and formerly of Kirkville, died Sunday at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Darling was a native of Kirkville. He was a retired maintenance man for the Red Cross. He worked for the organization for 30 years. Darling was a former member of the Odd Fellows Club. Surviving are his stepmother, Mrs. Anna Darling, Kirkville; a sister, Mrs. Ethwin Gardener; with whom he lived; several nieces and nephews, and a cousin. Services were Wednesday at the Russell H. Schepp Funeral Home, 109 East Ave., Minoa, with the Rev. Rooie Stanton, officiating. Burial will be in Kirkville Cemetery.
