– Carol Jean Darling, 9, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Darling of 616 Button Rd., died in Syracuse Memorial Hospital Friday night.
Carol was a pupil of the Chittenango Central School.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Frances Miller of Chittenango, Barbara and Ruth Darling, at home; and a brother, George Darling of Chittenango.
Funeral services were conducted at the Darling residence on Button road at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Melvin Anderson of the Methodist Church officiating.
Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery. The Tyler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
