Lloyd Barnes Rites
Scheduled Thursday
Funeral services for Lloyd R. Barnes will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Bethel Assemble of God Church. Barnes, 22, was killed Sunday evening in an automobile accident.
The Rev. Earl Harper will officiate and burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of Behrene Mortuary.
A memorial has been established for his family.
Barnes was born Jan. 28, 1944, in Tacoma, Wash., and moved to Burke with his family that year. In 1953 they moved to Rapid City where he attended junior high and Rapid City High School. He married in 1964 to Sandra LaBrie.
Survivors include his widow; three children, Dawn Marie, Bertha Ann and Scott; his mother, Mrs. Lloyd Earn Barnes of Rapid City; three brothers, Jerry, Charles and Elmer, all of Bridgeford, and three sisters, Mrs. Donna Arguello, Barbara Katherine, all of Bridgeford.
