NIXON - Services for Mrs. Bernice Marie Boone 68, a Nixon school teacher, will be conducted at Finch Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The Rev. Ted Bosworth Pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial in the Nixon.
Mrs. Boon died in a San Antonio hospital on Thursday.
She was born in Stockdale, Oct 21, 1914, daughter of Enoch and Virginia (McCarley) Fatheree. She married William E. Boon in La Vernia August 4, 1934.
Surviving are the husband; a son, Howard Boone of Sequin; two sisters, Orlena Luker and Emma Etheredge of Huntsville; a brother, Charles Fatheree of Pensacola, Fla.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
