The particulars of the illness and death of William A Angus which occurred at his late home in Horswill, Hettinger, N.D. on May 3rd were received a few days since by his parents Mr William Angus & Johanna Angus of Malvern IA. It seems that one his little sons (Vern Warren) was taken with diptheria and after a short illness and died. In caring for the stricken son the father (William Alford) contracted the disease which later developed into pneumonia and resulted in his death in a few days later. William A Augus was born near Strahan Oct 5 1883. Later came to Malvern with his parents and in 1903 went to Palmer, Merrick, Neb where on Jan 4 1905 he married to Miss Fannie Prince from Palmer. Mr Angus with his family moved to Horswill, Hettinger, N.D. in March of this year. Two son ere the fruit on this union. One son, Harry Knell and the bereaved wife, remain to mourn their loss.
The relatives and friends have the consolatings of Mr Angus' testimony that he had full assurance of salvation and felt that he was going to heaven.
