"Bernard Diebold, 77, a lifelong resident of Madison, died today at his home, 122 N. Bassett st., after a long illness. He was a painter and belonged to the Madison painters' union.
Surviving are four brothers, Frank, William, and Joseph, all of Madison, and Charles, Milwaukee, and four sisters, Mrs. Julia Schulkamp, Mrs. R. F. Reimer, and Mrs. Charles Bradley, all of Madison, and Sister M. Gorgonia, St. Louis, Mo.
The body was taken to the Joyce funeral Home."
