Wayne women dies Oct 15
Funeral services for Mrs Mary Belle Guthrie, 74, of Wayne, were held last Thursday October 17th at 2:00 pm at the Baptist Church in Wayne. Rev Ernie Boatwright officiated the services with intermittent at Hillside Cemetery. Yoakum funeral home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Guthrie died Oct 15 at her home. She was born in Texas May 11, 1894. She is survived by one son, Loyd C Guthrie of Wayne, one daughter Mrs Mara Lee Moring of Purcell, two brother, Jim Ford of Bells, TX and Joe Ford of Denison, TX; two sisters Myrtle Guthrie, Kerryville, TX, Mrs Carrie Reynolds, Bells, TX, eight grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Her husband EL Guthrie; one son Harold H Guthrie, one daughter Ernestine Guthrie preceded her in death.
Pallbearer at the funeral were W.W. Berry, L.J.Ford,Cecil Carter, Herman Gooch, Braden Wallace and Roy Beck.
