He attended Capital School District and was active in Dover Little League and Pop Warner football. He later moved to Corning, N.Y. with his sister and graduated from West High School.
Mr. Brown attended Mansfield University on a baseball scholarship, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. After graduation he had a tryout with the Atlanta Braves, but ultimately followed a career in criminal justice.
Mr. Brown spent two years with the Rehoboth Beach Police Department and most recently was an officer for the town of Wyoming Police Department. He was a member of Grace Methodist Church in Corning.
In addition to hunting and riding motorcycles and ATV’s, Mr. Brown enjoyed the beach and spending time with his nephews, encouraging their sports interests. His childhood and current friends had a special place in his heart.
