On Christmas Eve, 2000, she was shot execution-style at her Beverly Hills home; Robert Durst was tried for her murder, and was found guilty on September 17, 2021. The book "Murder of a Mafia Daughter: The Life and Tragic Death of Susan Berman" was published in 2001.
