Mrs. Deason, who died Monday at Decatur General Hospital, was born May 1, 1936, in Bibb County to Marion Michael Shaw and Margarette Hayes Shaw. Survivors include her loving husband, Dewey Deason; sons, Douglas Deason and his wife, Sara, of Huntsville, and David Deason of Tampa, Fla.; daughter, Denise Deason McCrary and her husband, David, of Mesa, Ariz.; brother, Ronald Shaw of Hawthorne, Fla.; sister, Mildred Daughtry of Dothan; grandsons, Christopher Deason of Tampa, and Drake McCrary of Mesa; and granddaughter, Danielle McCrary of Mesa.
