Mrs. Louisa Long Minor, widow of Samuel Minor, deceased, died at her home near Garard's Fort, Monday, July 9, 1917, aged 80 years. Mrs. Minor was a member of the Baptist church and was highly esteemed. She is survived by the following children: John Minor, of Blockton, Ia.; William, Owen and Friend Minor, and Mrs. Frank Baily, of Carmichaels, and Mrs. Della Baily, of Khedive.
