Son of Columbus and Mary Emma (Collison) Neal. He married Elizabeth McNally. Father of Edward James, Margaret Mary, Mary Elizabeth, Samuel Aloysius and Unnamed Infant Neal. Died, along with his wife and infant, during what has become known as the "Flu Epedemic of 1918. His brother Wharton also died during this Epedemic.
