1901 Census: Living at 63 Well Wood, Aylesford, Kent. With his parents - His father Arthur is a Gamekeeper, also included in this census is younger brother George Frederick Jeffrey (1899 - 1979).

1911 Census: Living at Thrift Cottage, Ingrove, Brentwood, Essex. Living with his parents: Father Alfred - Gamekeeper on Estate. Also included is younger brother George and they are both at school.

Arthur enlisted on the 28th of October 1916 at Worcestor, aged 18 years and 6 months, his occupation Telegraph Operator.
Arthur was awarded British War Medal and Victory Medal.

Arthur died of wounds.
