"Rest here in peace in the dark grave where thou are sleeping,
And sweetly repose in thy vine-covered tomb;
No mourners pale form a vigil is keeping,
Wild flowers shed round thee their sweetest perfume.
Green fields are around and the blue skies are free,
Where the earth married spirit is changeless and blessed,
They sleep ‘till a voice from above shall restore thee;
To thine own kindred bund in the mansions of rest."
