Son of Michael Brennock and Mary Bolger, of 41, Dock Street, Ringsend, Dublin.
They were married in Rathdown district, Co. Dublin in 1880.
He was born on 27 April 1891, at 2 Eblana Villas, off Lower Mount Street, Dublin
His father was recorded as a Miller.

Four Brennock brothers died in World War 1.

Private William Brennock d. 1914.
Saddler Michael Brennock d. 1915.
Stoker Patrick Brennock d. 1915.
Sergeant Thomas Brennock d. 1917.
