He was a master jeweler and gold manufacturer.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; one daughter, Thespa McLaughlin (Rodney); three sons, Peter Jones (Beverly) of Springdale, Donald Upton of Fayetteville and Robert Brumley (wife, Deseri) of Elkins. One sister and 10 grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
