Pleasant Oliver was born to Robert A. and Martha Oliver. He married Bessie Oliver July 25, 1909 at Maple, Sequoyah County, Oklahoma. They had 4 children: Leon, Nita, Charles, and Eldred. Bessie preceded him in death in 1917. Leon remained with his father, while the three younger children lived with their late mother's sisters. P.A. later married Hettie Asbill and one daughter - Wilma Dean - was born to this union.
