He married Elizabeth Kaylor ca. 1865 and fathered John Eichelberger (b. 09/25/63 - allegedly not Elizabeth's child), Isaac (b. 06/28/66), Albert (b. 02/28/73), Alice (b. 03/12/77 - married Joshua B. Berstler), and Emma (b. 10/23/86 - married William Valentine Hummel). No obituary was found in online newspaper archives.
