Helen Frances (Halterman) Early, age 38, of Central, Missouri, died Tuesday, March 8, 1949, at Research Hospital after an illness of two weeks. Helen was born February 22, 1911, in Ray County, Missouri (near New Hope) the daughter of Mory C. and Sarah Ella (Bayer) Halterman. 


She married Clyde Early of the Rockingham community on December 20, 1931.


Survivors include her parents; husband; four sons, Claude Early; Russell Wayne "Dub" Early; Ronald Early; Farrell Early; three daughters, Patricia Early; Janice K. Early; Sharon Sue Early; five brothers, Raymond Halterman, Stet, MO; Ted Halterman, Richmond, MO; Estel Halterman, Kansas City, MO; Eugene Halterman, Norborne, MO; Robert Wayne Halterman, Illinois; five sisters, Iris Mansur, Excelsior Springs, MO; Anna Clemens, Excelsior Springs, MO; Alice Pence, Millbrook, Illinois; Gladys Ford, St. Joseph, MO; and Nadine Edgar, Richmond, MO. 


Helen lived her entire life in the New Hope-Rockingham community. She had been a faithful member of the Brethren Church. 


Funeral service at the Wakenda Church. Interment in 

Wakenda Cemetery. Knipschild and Borcherding Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
