Emma was born to Simon & Louisa Landacre on Sept 30th, 1867. Emma married George Murfield at her parents home on Nov 29th, 1888. George and Emma had eight children. Seven girls(Hazel Murfield Rothrock, Rosea Murfield Myers, Mary Murfield Breece, Alice Murfield, Matilda Murfield, Louisa Murfield, and Marguarite Winifred Murfield ( who later became "Sister Margarete" Murfield in Huntington, Indiana (in 1930).) and one son William Herbert Murfield (next to the youngest child). Emmas father was Simon Landacre of Delaware, Ohio.Emma passed away one week after giving birth to her youngest daughter (Marguarite Winifred Murfield).
