Virginia Lee Cowdin
WICHITA -- Virginia Lee Cowdin, went to her heavenly home, Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at her earthly home in Wichita with her family lovingly caring for her. She was the daughter of George W. and Bessie A. Dutton. She married Don Cowdin on Jan. 15, 1977. He survives.She was a member of Cedar Chapel Methodist Church in Wichita. Other survivors include her brother, Dean Dutton of Parsons; a sister, Patricia Lindholm of Scammon; five nieces, Cathy Trent of Parsons, Rhonda Franks of Scranton, Teresa Bell of Kansas City, Mo., Pam Harper of Talala, Okla., and Debora Bolin of Columbus; two nephews, Rick Dean of Olathe and Brad Dutton of Parsons; 12 great-nieces and nephews; and four great-great-nieces and nephews. She was Aunt GiGi to the little ones and Aunt Ginny to the older ones. She was a very special aunt to them all, an extraordinary sister and a loving wife. She always had an extra special love for God, music, dancing, laughter, family and all the little ones. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Caroline Dean. The service will be at 11 a.m. today at Bath-Naylor Funeral Home, 104 W. Main St., Weir, with the Rev. Jim Graves officiating. Burial will follow in Hosey Hill Cemetery.
