Pauline Ruth "Polly" Friedley, 87, of McPherson, Kansas., Went to be with her Lord at 12:41 a.m., Monday, June 27th, 2011 while in the company of family members at her home.
Mrs. Friedley was born in Lorraine, Kansas on December 11, 1923, the daughter of Arthur and Bertha R. (Dutton) Colberg.
Pauline attended the Lorraine schools and graduated from Lorraine High School, Lorraine, Kansas. She attended Bethany Nazarene College, Bethany, Oklahoma.
She was a member of Countryside Covenant Church McPherson, Kansas, through the years as a member of several churches she served as a choir director, vocalist, and served on various committees.
Pauline was a homemaker and secretary and bookkeeper for her husband in his Dental practice.
Pauline Colberg was united in marriage to C. Richard Friedley on June 8, 1949 at Chase, Kansas. The young couple established their first home together in McPherson until 1952 when the family moved to Lyons, Kansas. They lived in Lyons until 1955 when they moved to Raytown Missouri until 1990 when the couple moved back to McPherson.
Surviving family members include her husband of over sixty-two years, C. Richard Friedley of McPherson, Kansas; her daughters, Joy Boldt of Olathe, Kansas, Pat Boldt and her husband Kennard of McPherson, Kansas, Sandra Wagner and her husband Bruce of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Tara Kleinschmidt and her husband Rick of Galva, Kansas; her son-in-law, Rev. Timothy Oglesby and his wife Jackie of Buhler, Kansas; her brother Roger Colberg and his wife Evangeline of Lyons, Kansas; her 11 grandchildren, Glenn Boldt, Javon Boldt, Janette Hand and her husband Gene, Nicholas Ogelsby and his wife Emily, Christina Young and her husband Yancy, Rachel Branam and her husband Nick, Sarah Boldt, Kendra Emery and her husband Tyler, Aubree Behm and her husband Nick, Larissa Wagner, and Shiloh Wagner; 3 step grandchildren, Anthony, Loren, and C.W. Kleinschmidt; 7 great-grandchildren, Isaac, Collin, Adah, and Alayna Branam, Jonas and Megan Emery, Lincoln Young; several nieces and nephews, other reatives and a host of friends.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Connie Kay Oglesby, sister Corene Crill; and a brother Jack Colberg.

Memorial service will be held at Countryside Covenant Church, McPherson, Kansas, at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 1st, 2011 with Reverend Jon Black and Reverend Timothy Oglesby officiating.
