In 1880 he was a Saloon Keeper in American Fork, Utah, Utah, USA, with wife Sarah , Sons Louis and Centennial and daughter June. He had four sons and two daughters with Sarah Hardy between 1872 and 1886. He died on October 28, 1886, in American Fork, Utah, at the age of 49, and was buried there.
