Clarence P. Belcher, 92, died Sept. 29, 2000 at Wheatlands Healthcare Center. He was born June 30, 1908 at Varner, the son of William Park and Nina McCune Belcher.
A lifetime resident of Kingman County, he was a retired farmer and Jersey dairyman.

He was a member of the Kingman Christian Church, a former member of the Varner school board and the White Township, and he was an active 4-H leader for the Busy Bee 4-H.
On August 8, 1930, he married Mildred McClure at Kingman. She preceded him in death in November of 1997.

Survivors include sons Roland and Larry; daughter Naomi Schuchman; sister, Bertie McPheeters; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Will and his sister, Hattie Bowyer.

A funeral service was held at Livingston Funeral Home on October 2, 2000, Matt Keith officiating. Memorials may be made to the Wheatlands Healthcare Center.
